Marc fell in love with the music of Buddy Holly at the age of 8 and donned his first pair of those inimitable Buddy specs in his early 20’s, when he and a few friends started performing as a tribute Rock ‘n’ Roll band. Later, he took part in the original series of the TV show ‘Stars in Their Eyes’, which proved to be a real turning point for him and sent his professional music career into orbit. Ever since, Marc has spent his time travelling the length and breadth of the UK, as well as going overseas, taking his tribute to the late, great Buddy to all types of venues. From small clubs to arenas, from holiday parks and local theatres to major festivals and The West End, Marc Robinson is now known for being the ‘No. 1’ Buddy tribute artist, as well as producing a whole range of shows featuring other icons of the era.
